Close your eyes and imagine the following: an Airfryer that’s 7 meters deep and 6 meters high. An Airfryer that transforms your leftover food in the fridge into delicious snacks! On the occasion of ‘’International Day of Awareness of Food waste and Loss’’, we launched, in collab with GreenFoodLabs, this gigantic Airfryer.

THE CHALLENGE
In The Netherlands, over 2 billion kilograms of food are wasted annually, with approximately 34 kilograms per person. This must change. Versuni aims to challenge consumers to get creative with leftovers from their own fridges and demonstrates that the Airfryer is the solution. Megawatt was asked to bring the concept of ‘’Airfry before you buy’’ to life.

THE CHALLENGE

Megawatt was asked to bring the concept of ‘’Airfry before you buy’’ to life.

RESULT
In just 9 weeks, we went from the initial contact, rough sketches, and scribbles to an impressive result. Whether we have exceeded expectations? Hell yes! Fun fact: Versuni employed Artificial Intelligence for the briefing, and the images created by Midjourney served as inspiration for our final design.

In three days, thanks to the recognizable design and clear communication, at least 70% of the people who walked from Utrecht Station to the mall recognized the Airfryer, with or without interaction. The activation generated 198+ social media posts from micro, macro, and consumer influencers. Ten online articles were published, leading to an online reach of 3,000,000+. This was a seamless integration of product and PR within a social theme.
